Everyday Life

When you’re pregnant, choosing someone to work with your body is personal. You want to know that the person on the other side of the table understands more than just how to give a relaxing massage. You want someone who will listen, notice the changes happening in your body, and thoughtfully adapt your care as you move through pregnancy and into postpartum.
That’s why my approach to prenatal and postpartum massage is grounded in both specialized training and a broader understanding of the body.
Through my initial training and continuing education, I’ve developed a fuller spectrum of bodywork skills to support you through the physical changes of pregnancy and postpartum. In addition to my Certification in Prenatal & Postpartum Massage, my background in neuromuscular therapy gives me a deeper understanding of the relationship between your muscles, fascia, movement patterns, and nervous system.
That means your massage doesn’t have to stop at simply finding a tight muscle and working on it. We can look at the bigger picture of how your body is adapting, where you're experiencing discomfort, and how your changing biomechanics may be influencing the way you move and feel.
After working in a variety of spa settings since becoming a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist in 2019, I eventually started my own practice because I wanted to create something more intentional for pregnant and postpartum women—
a place where specialized bodywork could be part of ongoing support throughout this season.
This season can ask a lot of you—physically, mentally, and emotionally. You deserve to work with someone who takes your discomfort seriously, respects your intuition, and gives you space to be cared for without having to explain or minimize what you’re feeling.
When you come to me, you’ll find anther mother who is genuinely interested in you—how you're feeling today, what has changed since we last met, how your body is adapting, and what kind of support would feel most helpful right now.
Outside of the treatment room, I'm usually with my family.
My husband and I are raising our three children, and much of our life revolves around being outside, making yummy food, lots of dishes and laundry and enjoying the ordinary moments together. Parenthood is definitely a journey. And I am so grateful for the pregnancies and birth stories that marked each turn in that road.
I am constantly learning from and with these three
(not so tiny) humans. And I consider it my life's work to help shape the world into a more loving place for all children, even the ones that don't share my DNA. When the caregiver feels nourished, we are able to care better.
My hope is that when you meet me, you feel less like you’re choosing a massage therapist and more like you’ve found someone you can trust with this part of your journey.
Can't wait to meet you,
Arielle Shaver, LMT
You deserve to feel comfortable in good hands

About the gendered language...
You’ll notice that I use words like woman, mother, and mama throughout my website and marketing. I’ve chosen feminine language because it reflects the women-centered traditions and experiences that have shaped my work with pregnancy and birth.
But I know that not every person who becomes pregnant or gives birth identifies as a woman or a mother. I honor you as you are and welcome the opportunity to work alongside you, whatever your gender identity or however you choose to describe your experience.
Birth is an incredible transformation, and you deserve to feel safe, respected, comfortable, and cared for as you move through it. You get to define what that experience means to you.
